I love the Internet. I have worked in Internet services since 1998. I got two major daily newspapers, a magazine and countless businesses up and running on the Internet before it was really a thing. I even met my husband on the Internet.
However: the Internet, social media… whatever you would like to call it has weakened the attention span of your average adult human, self included. I am a 55 year old woman with a 4 page resume no one reads. To condense 25 years of experience in 4 pages is hard enough but to have it ignored because it’s too wordy is dismissive and disappointing.
